NFIRS 5 Alive takes operational analysis to an entirely new level. Here's a summary of the new analysis technology now available in NFIRS 5 Alive.

1. NFIRS 5 Alive contains over 7,200 predefined report formats. That's over ten times the number of reports found in most NFIRS 5 data entry packages.

2. NFIRS 5 Alive reports do not print to paper as they are processed. Instead NFIRS 5 Alive creates report records which can be reviewed and printed as desired. This means reports can be saved and recalled at any time. This feature is extremely valuable when examining trends over time.

3. NFIRS 5 Alive reports process in batch mode. Once you have selected the records to include in your report you can select as many reports as you wish to process. NFIRS 5 Alive will perform the required number calculations, prepare graphs and numeric arrays and store them as records in the Presentations module. This approach allows you to rapidly review reports in sequence, like a slide show. Spot trends. Keep the reports you want.  Simply delete the reports you do not need. You may print any report any time you wish.

4. Because NFIRS 5 Alive reports are stored as records you can use NFIRS 5 Alive to organize slide presentations for staff meetings, budget presentations and public education.  In addition, NFIRS 5 Alive easily links to Microsoft Office products. You can immediately paste graph pictures into Annual Reports while numeric arrays can be immediately pasted into spreadsheets.

5. NFIRS 5 Alive reports travel well. Reports can be distilled into a paragraph of text and sent via email to anyone in your fire department or anyone in the country. All you need to turn report text into an animated graph or numeric array is the NFIRS 5 Alive Reader / Demo. The "Reader / Demo" is available free of charge. Information has value only to the limits of your ability to communicate it. NFIRS 5 Alive removes all the limits.  With NFIRS 5 Alive you will learn more about your fire department in one day than you would in weeks using conventional reporting. Best of all what you learn today can be saved and viewed at any point in the future.  The information base you create today only becomes more valuable as time passes.
